Hi, I’m Kate — founder of Gentle Helsinki and a passionate yoga practitioner for over 13 years. Yoga came into my life when I needed it the most, and it completely changed the way I navigate difficult emotions and life’s ups and downs. Every time I feel overwhelmed, I return to my mat — it’s where I find clarity, balance, and the space to process what I’m going through.

What I love most about yoga is that it’s never just about fitness. It’s about feeling grounded, mobile, and at ease in your body. It helps build discipline while teaching you to listen to yourself and live with more awareness. Over time, this journey sparked a deep interest in holistic well-being — understanding how the body and mind work together. This curiosity eventually led me to complete my yoga teacher training in 2020, and I’m still passionate about exploring both physical and mental health today.
